AEDA Earns Bronze Excellence by the International Economic Development Council

Arvada Economic Development Association (AEDA) received Bronze Excellence in Economic Development Award for its 2013 project in the category of General Purpose Brochure for communities with populations of 25,000 – 200,000 from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC). The honor was presented at an awards ceremony on October 8, during the IEDC Annual Conference, which was held in Philadelphia, PA.

“The Excellence in Economic Development Awards recognizes AEDA as being one of the leading organizations in the industry for innovation, creativity and successful strategies,” said IEDC chair, Paul Krutko. “These awards are meant to honor the organizations and individuals who are dedicated to making a positive change in their communities. AEDA uses creative solutions and inventive ideas, and offers other regions a wonderful example to learn and benefit from. The award represents an acknowledgment and appreciation for the dedication to continuous growth within itself, as well as improving the industry overall.”

AEDA in partnership with Rassman Design produces the annual Community Profile of the City of Arvada. “Over the past 10 years we have been thrilled with the opportunity to work with AEDA. They are great people who truly care about the quality of the services they provide,” said John Rassman, Rassman Design. It's fantastic when such a targeted and collaborative effort gets recognized by your peers. Congratulations AEDA!" AEDA’s objective was to design the piece to be visually appealing, concise, and easy to read online and on a mobile device. The Profile highlights the City of Arvada to potential businesses, developers and real estate brokers. In 2013, AEDA distributed 1500 Profiles to the real estate community and 1200 to Arvada businesses.
