Ryan Stachelski Appointed as Arvada Economic Development Association Director

The Arvada Economic Development Association (AEDA) Board of Directors is proud to announce that Ryan Stachelski has been appointed as executive director of the association following the retirement of Hazel Hartbarger. Hazel was with AEDA for over 21 years and is quick to say, “I am so pleased that Ryan was selected to lead the organization going forward. I am leaving AEDA in the best possible hands with Ryan as the new director and his team of Deputy Director Daniel Ryley, Marketing Manager Allison Trembly, and Economic Development Specialist Melissa Marmitt.”

Ryan Stachelski previously served as the economic development deputy director for AEDA for the more than three years. Before Ryan came to Arvada, he was the economic development manager for the City of Northglenn and was the economic development specialist for the City of Wheat Ridge. Ryan has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from George Mason University and a Master of Science Degree in Economics from Illinois State University. He is a proven leader and represents AEDA and the City of Arvada with various organizations. Ryan has also been the catalyst for many successes during his tenure with AEDA.

As the new director, Ryan will be responsible for overall economic development efforts for Arvada including AEDA’s financial assistance programs, business retention program, and new business attraction." AEDA has an impeccable reputation," said Ryan Stachelski. "I'm ready to roll up my sleeves with the new AEDA team and work together with our many partners to continue Arvada’s legacy of excellence in economic development."
